A Seed of Strength is a seed that increases the strength of whoever eats it. It can be found in treasure chests, monsters can sometimes drop it, and looking in various item places (drawers, pots, bags) may help you seeds of strength. They cannot be found at any store, and usually give the eater + 1-5 strength.

The ''' 'Armamentalist's Album' ''' is an Everyday Item in [[Dragon Quest IX]], obtained as the reward for the level 40 [[Armamentalist]] class quest. As with the other quest-reward books, it has to be in an individual character's inventory to be effective.

A character with this item in their inventory will buff ''all'' members of the party when they use the [[Fire Fource]], [[Frost Fource]], [[Gale Fource]], [[Life Fource]], or [[Funereal Fource]] abilities from the Armamentalist class's Fource skill set. They do not have to ''currently'' be an Armamentalist to take advantage of this.
