'''Riverton''' is a town found in {{DQ4}}. The aptly-named town sprang up on opposite banks of a river, with an island right in the middle. It is one of the few locations in the remake to [[List of Name Changes in the Zenithia Trilogy|keep the name]] used in the original localization.

It's the home of a mechanic in need of a [[gas canister]] to make a perfectly functional [[balloon]]. Upon receiving one from the [[Hero (Dragon Quest IV)|Hero]], who must retrieve it from [[Estark's Crypt]], he manages to create the balloon and gives it to the Hero and his party.
