It is a special robe that has carried a variety of special properties throughout its appearances in the series. It provides extra protection for the wearer in battle if they are under the effects of {{Sleep}} or become {{Paralyze}}d in its first three appearances in the series: {{IV}}, {{V}}, and {{VIII}}. In {{IX}} it gives the wearer resistance to being put to sleep in the first place, and in {{XI}} it offers no protection against either ailment and instead heals {{HP}} every turn.<br />
