Darkonium Slimes resemble red Gem Slimes. They are impervious to all spells, and dodge attacks often. They are very vulnerable to Falcon Slash and basic attacks from the Falcon Blade and Uber Falcon Blade, because they hardly ever dodge these strikes. They can attack normally, hit all party members by squishing them or hitting them with a laser beam, and can cast Multiheal.

A red colored version of the Wight Knight. Found in mid-level grottoes.

things to know-

This boss loves disruptive wave, buff as little as possible, he will use it turn after turn if you give him the opportunity.

Has a critical strike with his regular attack.

His damage output is not great, but he has a critical hit so be wary about that.

He also loves multi-thrust, this does decent damage.

He uses Kacrack, but it is pretty weak, he has very little magical might.

He is weak to magic, but he can increase his resistance to it.

Best way to beat him: a paladin tank, he has no breath attacks and his magic is not great. Multithrust will not deal to great a damage to your paladin if he/she is done with virtue. ( especially if they are done with courage as well as virtue. ) This guy should be no problem BUT you will need the shield scroll for the paladin tactic. ( auto-blocks criticals )

Another excellent strategy is to have your priest cast Rotstopper. This will seriously decrease damage done to your party, which can save your weaker party members from being killed by a critical hit. Just be sure to re-cast it after every Disruptive Wave.

'''Disruptive Wave:''' Dispells all magical effects on the party and returns their tension to normal.

'''Multislash:''' Hits multiple targets, chosen at random. Each hit is less powerful than his basic attack, but if all 4 attacks hit the same character, they could be in trouble.

'''Feel the Burn:''' For several turns, attacks that hit Excalipurr will raise his tension.

Battle strategies:

An important thing to note is that Excalipurr is '''weak against lightning attacks'''. If you have a character who uses an ax, use Parallax every turn to inflict extra damage.

When Excalipurr uses Feel the burn, only attack him twice a turn to avoid raising his tension to 50. Like most later bosses, Excalipurr already has a very high attack rating.
