Robbin' 'Ood is a recurring boss character in the Dragon Quest series. 'E appears three separate times throughout the game, committing 'einous criminal acts in all but one of 'is appearances. 'E also appeared in Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
Story
Robbin' 'Ood and 'is 'enchmen first appear in the Skyfell Tower west of Khoryv. 'E went and stole the crown from the king of Romaria, an' left the place in such a rut that the 'ero is recruited by the king to retrieve the crown. 'Owever, fightin' the bloke is an optional sidequest, an' failin' to retrieve the crown does not prevent the 'ero from continuin' the game.

Wivhin the tower, Ol' Robbin' attempts to thwart the party by openin' a trap door beneath the group's feet. Upon returnin' to the previous floor, the 'ero finds the ol' geezer has up an' vanished. 'Owever, after leapin' off the edge where Robbin' 'ad been standin', the 'ero finds 'im several floors below. This results in the first genuine boss fight o' the game. After the battle, the 'ero acquires the king o' Romaria's crown after the big sap starts beggin' fer 'is life.

The rotter's second appearance is in the appropriately named Kidnapper's Cave a little nort' west o' Baharata. Robbin' 'Ood an' 'is goons advance in their criminal careers by kidnappin' the luvly couple Gopal Gupta & Tanaya, 'olding 'em fer ransom. Upon freein' the young luvers, the 'ero is confronted by the would-be kingpin 'imself, and meets 'im in melee. After receivin' a second thrashin' from the party, the crook pleads for mercy claimin' all the while that 'e'll change 'is ways fer real this time.

Robbin' 'Ood's final appearance is in the castletown of Tantegel. 'E claims to have changed 'is evil ways an' now acts as a typical NPC. 'E provides the 'ero wiv information about the location of the Sunstone.

The Prince of Cannock (サマルトリアの王子 Prince of Samaltria) is a playable character in Dragon Quest II, and is one of three descendents of Erdrick who journeys to defeat Hargon after his attack on Moonbrooke, and is the second playable character added to the party after the Prince of Midenhall. He also has a sister who's the Princess of Cannock.

The Prince of Cannock's abilities are a mix between both of his cousins, the Prince of Midenhall and the Princess of Moonbrooke. Though he is physically strong, he is weaker than the Prince of Midenhall, and while he can use magic, most of his spells are not as powerful as those available to the Princess of Moonbrooke. In terms of statistics and spell choices, the Prince of Cannock has more in common with the other Heroes of the series.

Upon learning of the tragedy that befell Moonbrooke, the Prince of Cannock set out on a journey, first travelling to the Spring of Bravery. Later, he met the Prince of Midenhall at the inn in Leftwyne, where the two cousins joined forces and began travelling together.

Appearance and Personality
He is shorter than the Prince of Midenhall, but taller than the Princess of Moonbrooke. In the Japanese box art and all other versions of the game, the prince has shaggy orange hair and wears a green tabard with Erdrick's crest on the chest and an orange cape attached over black clothes. He also wears green gloves and boots, as well as a pair of goggles on his head. In the American box art for the NES version of the game, he is still wearing the odd goggles on his head, but his tunic has been replaced with a full suit of green armor. The Prince is also seen carrying a green shield with a red jewel in the middle and wields a rapier.

In the Japanese version, the Prince is described as a slacker, a drinker, and an overall really fun guy; however, in the American version the Prince of Cannock is reffered a studious young man immersed in his studies. This is presumably due to the heavy censorship Nintendo of America enforced during the late 80s and early 90s.
In remake versions of the game, he has access to a wider variety of equipment, such as Erdrick's Sword and the Aurora Blade.
*Based on the name you choose for the Prince of Midenhall, the Prince of Cannock's name is selected from a list of eight names. They are Bran, Glynn, Talint, Numor, Lars, Orfeo, Artho, and Esgar. In the GBC version, the possible names are: Frey, John, Art, Gary, Karl, Eric, Drew, and Paul. It is possible to manually change his name by putting in a code at the title screen.

*In the Japanese version, the possible names are Tonnura, Arthur, Cain, Cookie, Conan, Sukesan, Paulos, and Rand.

*His name in the Japanese CD theater drama and novelization is Conan (コナン), one of his eight default names from the game. Other books used some of the others, such as Cain (カイン) and Cookie (クッキー).

Role
The prince is the son of the king of Cannock, who is a descendant of Erdrick and Gwaelin. No further details of his past are known.

In Dragon Quest II
start
The prince sets out to meet his cousin after hearing of Hargon's attack on Moonbrooke. However, the 2 have difficulty finding one another until they meet at the inn in Leftwyne. Together they set out to defeat Hargon together. The player is unable to travel south to Hamlin until the prince of Cannock is in the party, making him an essential companion.

Later in the game, the prince becomes ill after staying at the inn in Beran. The other heroes must travel and retrieve a Yggdrasil Leaf in order to cure him and continue adventuring.

The prince plays a support role in battle, as he does not have great strength and cannot equip the best weapons and armor in the NES version. He also has the weakest resistances to magic and breath attacks. Early in the game his magic will be important for attacking if wish to finish battles faster, later in the game his magic becomes less useful for attacking until Defeat is learned.

In the GBC remake he was give the ability to equip better weapons on top of some weapons having been given a power boost. His attack spells were adjusted to such that Sizzle does considerably more damage, though Sizz has a lower max. damage than it used to. Thwack's accuracy has been raised slightly, though some late game enemies are given immunity to compensate. He still suffers in terms of defense and survivability as much of his armor lacks resistance to magic and breath attacks.

Overall he is a middle-of-the-road character, with his spells for dealing damage and healing HP aren't as powerful as the Princess of Moonbrooke's, and his strength and weapon options aren't as good as the Prince of Midenhall's. However, he does have very helpful spells such as Fizzle and Safe Passage, and Thwack has the potential to turn the tide in even the grimmest battle.
end

In Dragon Quest IX
The Prince of Cannock is one of many past Dragon Quest characters who come to stay at the Quester's Rest as part of the bonus wifi content. He became available for download through DQVC on October 1, 2010, with the name Prince Princeton. He donates equipment resembling his outfit if the player meets certain requirements, and is classified as an Armamentalist. His personality remains unchanged, but he speaks with a slightly formal tone.

Itadaki Street Special
The Prince of Cannock is a playable character in Itadaki Street Special.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light is a Android/iOS console role-playing game published by Square Enix in 2014.

Story
The game starts out by introducing the player to a monster named Watabou, who explains what is going on in the Super Light world. He explains that he is not sure why certain monsters are suddenly attacking, but he knows that the player is the perfect person to look into it. He then demonstrates monster fighting, dungeon crawling, and even how to buy things in the store. Watabou acts as a support character for the first few quests, but later disappears and serves only to answer questions.

As the player progresses through the dungeons, the player can make new monster friends and add them to the battling team, collect gold that can be used to buy new maps, and collect all kinds of items that can be used in battle. The more battles, the stronger the monsters get; unfortunately, Super Light operates with a stamina system that restricts how often dungeons can be explored.

74.222.245.83: Not encyclopedic language.

The Saint's Equipment is a fan term referring to the set of legendary equipment found in Dragon Quest VII. Named after the demi-gods that feature prominently in the lore of the game, each item corresponds to one of the demi-gods and the element they embody.

In a break from tradition, the equipment is not exclusive to the Hero--both Aishe and Sir Mervyn can don some the armaments as well.

Okeanos Sword
This blade pulsates with power. Victims won't know what hit them! (Description of the Okeanos Sword in the Nintendo 3DS Version of Dragon Quest VII.)

Named after the Greek Titan of the sea, the okeanos sword increases its bearer's attack by +140, their style by +60, and casts Oomph when used in battle. The sword also has trailing damage, similar to the Sword of Ramias, hitting a foe with Zap damage equal to 50% of the original strike's power before resistances (if any) apply.

It can be equipped by The Hero, Sir Mervyn and Aishe.

Gaia Armour
Reduces damage from magic- and fire-based attacks. (Description of the Gaia Armour in the Nintendo 3DS Version of Dragon Quest VII.)

Named for the Greek Primordial Goddess, the armor bolsters defence by +125, style by +55, and restores 1 HP every step. It also cuts Frizz, Sizz, Bang, and fire breath damage by 35.

It can be equipped by The Hero and Sir Mervyn.

Pyros Helm
Resistant to an array of odious spells and abilities. (Description of the Pyros Helm in the Nintendo 3DS Version of Dragon Quest VII.)

Equipping the fiery helmet increases defence by +53, style by +33, and cuts the accuracy of Whack, Fuddle, Fizzle, and Snooze to 1/8th.

Found in the Cathedral of Blight in the Hellfire Hollow (use the Fire Amulet to call upon the Spirit of Fire to proceed at the dead end).

Unfortunately the Pyros Helm provides less defense than the Metal King Helm, but is still better than all helmets purchasable with currency and a serviceable alternative for those not willing to grind the 50,000 Casino Ticket price (at Buccanham Palace: Present Casino) for the MKH.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
In Chapter 2, Alena and co. see an elf named Lita and her sister at the top of Birdsong Tower, though the pair leaves as soon as they see the party, leaving behind a phial of Birdsong Nectar.

Later, in Chapter 5, they meet Rosalee, an elf who was hunted by humans because she cries rubies. Her lover Saro, the game's main antagonist, builds a fortress to protect her, around which the town of Rosalee Hill grows.

A few elves also live in Rosalee Hill, as it gradually became a shelter for various supernatural beings from the machinations of greedy and bigoted humans.

Towards the end of the game, they travel to the World Tree, at the roots of which the elves have built their main city, Elfville.

They also have one final meeting with Lita, her sister, and another, unnamed elf in Zenithia, though the trio gives them a cold reception.
