A [[Skeleton soldier]] (formerly '''Wraith Knight''', '''Phantom Knight''', '''Dead Knight''' or '''Dead Nite''') is a somewhat tougher opponent than a plain [[Skeleton]]. They are usually clothed in an olive green tunic and most wield a simple sword, although some use a different weapon, like a scythe.
[[Undead family|Skeleton]] soldiers are garbed in red or olive tunics, dull purple leggings, leather boots and gloves, and a belt with a ruby on its buckle around its waist. They were formerly knights in the living world, but have retained the ability to cast healing magic in undeath. In some games such as the ''Monsters: Joker'' spinoffs, the soldiers wield scythes instead of sabres in order to differentiate them from the other skeletons.
