Gold golem (Recurring): Difference between revisions

The '''Gold golem''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in the original [[Dragon Quest|game]]. It is a golem made out of gold bricks.

Gold golems appeared from the beginning of the game. They originally only dropped 550 gold and could only be faced as a companion to other monsters. They use no abilities to speak of in this game, but are still strong opponents. In Version 1.5, the amount of gold they dropped was increased to 2,550. The golems have a tendency to be found in the hidden rooms of Magic Labyrinths alongside [[Gem jamboree]]s. They have a high chance of dropping both [[Gold nugget (recurring)|gold nugget]]s and [[gold bar]]s.

Gold golem appears as an A-rank monster of the Inorganic family, first appearing exclusively as enemies in the game during the original ''Dragon Quest I'' event, as well as in the daily Gold Quest: Advanced and Ultra mission. They often appear as enemies on levels where large masses of gold can be accumulated alongside other gold-themed monsters like [[Goodybag]]s and [[Balhib]]s.

They could eventually be scouted during the ''A Winter Wonderland with the Ice Witch'' event alongside Santa [[Krystalinda]] on her banner. It can participate in the [[Jolly sasquash]]'s banner as a party member. Starting with Version 2.0 of the game, gold golem could be scouted from any limited banner, as well.
