Greatswords can be equipped by [[Demon Swordsman|Demon Swordsmen]], [[Guardian (Vocation)|Guardians]], [[Dragon (vocation)|Dragons]], and [[Devil (vocation)|Devils]]. In a departure from other games in the series, it is actually possible to wield a greatsword in one hand if the player chooses, leaving their offhand free to equip a shield. However, if the player chooses to use both hands to wield a greatsword, the weapon's {{Attack}} power will be multiplied by 1.5.
