Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit | edit source]
Appearing in the smartphone version of the game, the Floral parasol has a Defence bonus of +8 and can only be equipped by the female Hero, Alena, Maya, and Meena. It is the only shield that Alena can equip. It was a limited-time item that could be obtained by entering a gift code that was included in the May 2014 issue of V Jump or by redeeming a special gift code from the Dragon Quest Portal app that was exclusive for Japanese players.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit | edit source]
The Floral parasol has a Defence bonus of +8 and can only be equipped by Debora. It is also the only shield that she can equip it. It can be purchased in Helmunaptra for 1,000 gold and sold for 500 gold. The shield only appears in the Nintendo DS and mobile versions of the game.
