The Magical skirt is a piece of clothing in the series. It is designed to protect the wearer against magical attacks.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit | edit source]

The Magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +25 and can be equipped by any vocation as long as they are female and reduces magical damage by 25%. It can be purchased for 1,500 gold at Theddon and a shop on the second Treasures n' Trapdoors track (SFC and GBC versions only) and 3,000 gold at Asham from the con man. One can also be found on 4F of the Pyramid, hidden behind a door locked by the Magic Key and another in a treasure chest on the third Treasures n' Trapdoors track near the Shrine of Shackles. It only appears in remake versions of the game.

The Magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +45 and reduces damage taken from Frizz, Sizz, Bang, Crack, and Woosh spells by 33%. It can only be worn by a female Hero, Alena, Maya, and Meena. It can be purchased at the Pioneer Town once it upgrades to a castle, at the casino for 1000 coins. In the Nintendo DS and smartphone versions, the magical skirt can also be obtained as a prize from Minikin for turning in 25 mini medals. It can be sold for 7,350 gold. It only appears in remake versions of the game.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit | edit source]

The Magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +45, a Style bonus of +35, and reduces damage from Frizz, Sizz, Bang, Crack, and Woosh spells by 20. It can only be equipped by Milly and Ashlynn. The skirt can be purchased for 6,700 gold in Sorceria and sold for 5,025 gold. One can be found in a treasure chest on B1F of the Seabed Shrine. It can also be dropped by Wraithwands.

The Magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +45, a Style bonus of +35, and reduces damage taken from Frizz, Sizz, Bang, Crack, and Woosh spells by 20. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. It can be purchased for 8,700 gold at Wetlock, Providence, Hubble, and Aeolus Vale and sold for 4,350 gold. Magical skirts can be won as a prize from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.

  • In the Nintendo 3DS version, it has a 164 chance of being dropped by Dark slimes.

The Magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +55, reduces damage taken from Frizz, Sizz, Bang, Crack, and Woosh spells by 33.3%, and can only be worn by Jessica, along with Red in the 3DS version. The skirt can only made in the Alchemy Pot and it can be sold for 3,350 gold. It can also be mixed to create other pieces of clothing, as well.
