"Skree! You should’ve turned back when you had the chance! Now it’s time to reflect on the error of your ways! Your journey ends here!"
—Corpsickle
The Corpsickle is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Corpsickles are purple-skinned zombies with unkempt, straw-coloured hair wearing ragged brown tunics and torn red trousers. Much like toxic zombies, they specialise in poisonous attacks and can also perform violent grabbing attacks.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit | edit source]
Three corpsickles are encountered at Moonmirror Tower, mimicking the party's movements behind a false mirror and attempting to foul them into thinking the tower is a dead end. Upon close examination, the corpsickles give up the facade and attack the party. As long as the player comes prepared with antidotal herbs and Milly's Squelch spell ready to cure the effects of poison, the zombies should pose no trouble.

| In-game description | Bloated bodies that have been pickled in poison swamps. Their golden locks and venomous viscera set them apart from the other ghouls, but despite their flashy appearances, they're still very down to earth. |
