RhinoKing redirects here. For the bipedal rhino monster from Dragon Quest IV, see Rhinocerex.

The Splatterhorn is a monster in the series.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Splatterhorns are rhinoceros monsters with red hides, shaggy manes around their necks, and extra horns on their backs and heads. They can save up their strength to charge at full pelt at opponents and gore them with their horns. Their English name is a play on the word "splatter" and the Matterhorn mountain in the Alps.
