The '''Cerberwretch''' is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest VII}}.

It is a two-headed hound modeled after Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog of the underworld from Greek myths.

==Characteristics==
Dangerous and tenacious two-headed dogs that dash around at terrifying speeds, barking and biting at foes with terribly sharp teeth. Their jaws snap and gnash at enemies so quickly that they can nip many enemies in a single attack. Despite being dogs, the cerberwretches are members of the [[Undead family]], possibly due to their mythological inspiration.
