Corundum can be collected from the [[Dourbridge (region)|Dourbridge]] region and the [[Ondor Cliffs]], has a 10% chance of being found in [[List_of_treasure_map_treasure_chest_ranks_in_Dragon_Quest_IX#Rank_3/G|Rank 3]] (G) blue treasure chests, dropped by [[Admirer]]s, or
received as a reward for repeating [[Template:DQIXQuest/30|Quest #30]]: Wrapper's Delight. It can also be found randomly in the fountain at a fully upgraded [[Quester's Rest]]. It can be sold for 300 gold. Corundum is used for two different alchemy recipes:
