Glow lights up dark caves by a 4 x 4 radius for 80 steps, 3 x 3 for 60 steps, and 2 x 2 for another 60 steps. Initially, the light is brighter than that provided by a [[torch]]. However, unlike the torch, its light eventually fades, leaving the dungeon dark until it is recast. MP required is 3 in the original, and 2 in all remakes.

Glow, referred to as ''Radiant'' in the Eidos localization, appears as a spell used by various monsters, notably the common [[slime]], to lower the accuracy of other monsters in battle, and can be learned at Level 13, with an MP cost of 2, and requires stats being 42 MP, 72 AGL, and 72 INT.

Glow reappears in the sequel, with the minimal requirements now being Level 12, 42 MP, 72 AGL, and 130 INT, with the skill lowering the accuracy of other monsters in battle.
