'''Golok the Gatekeeper''' is a boss in ''[[Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors]]''.

One of [[Xiphos the Deathbringer]]'s servants, he is a giant, cyclopean, club-wielding monster who guards the entrance to the [[Deathbringer's Citadel]].

He attacks with his club as well as by batting boulders and boulder-like monsters at the [[Hero (Dragon Quest Swords)|Hero]] and his companion; sometimes he misses his own pitch and ends up hitting himself on the head instead, inflicting a little damage and momentarily stunning himself.

In keeping with the ''Dragon Quest Swords'' quirk of all characters being named after a type of sword, a golok is is the name given to a range of large knives and short swords originating from Southeast Asia, most notably from Indonesia and the Philippines.
