The gothic vestment provides a defence bonus of +72 and increases the wearer's base evasion to 25%. It can only be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VIII)|Hero]]. When worn together with the [[gothic mitre]], it changes the Hero's appearance. The gothic vestment is obtained as a reward from completing the Tyrantosaurus Stamp Card from [[Cameron's Codex]].
