==Characteristics==
The gracolyte is a bulkier, more muscular [[Aquatic family|merman]] with green scales, orange fins, and an orange underside. In its hands, it wields a long polearm, utilising the design of the [[Gracos' trident]] from the Nintendo DS version of {{Dragon Quest VI}}. It can mow down opponents with its polearm, exhale a venomous mist, and is able to cast powerful spells. Its name is a combination of [[Gracos]] and the word "acolyte".
