The leather whip is a simple bullwhip made out of braided leather of the kind used by farmers to drive livestock.

The leather whip has an {{Attack}} bonus of +25 and a {{Style}} bonus of +11. It can only be equipped by [[Maribel]] and [[Aishe]]. It can be purchased from [[Greenthumb Gardens]] and the [[Pilgrim's Rest]] Inn for 1,300 {{Gold}} and sold for 650 {{Gold}}. Leather whips can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the [[Casino]].

The leather whip has an {{Attack}} bonus of +6. It can only be equipped by [[Jessica Albert]] and is part of her initial equipment.

The whip can be sold for 85 {{Gold}}, but it is quite rare as it cannot be purchased in any shops. Another whip can be found in a [[treasure chest]] in the [[Pickham Region]].

They can also be dropped by [[Terror tabby|terror tabbies]] and [[king squid]]s. It can be upgraded into a [[snakeskin whip]] by combining it with a [[scale shield]] in the [[Alchemy Pot]] or used to make a [[leather kilt]] by combining it with a [[bandana]]. In the {{3DS}} version, the whip can also be equipped by [[Red]].
