<small><center>For the slot machine monster of the same name, see Penny pincher.</center></small> Penny Pincher is a recurring skill in the DQSeries. It steals 10% of an enemy's money when it connects, and does not detract from the gold accumulated at the end of battle. In the main series, the skill is performed with a hammer, but it is a normal skill in the Monsters series of games. ==Appearances== ===DQ8=== Yangus can use Penny Pincher after allocating 25 points into his Clubs skill. Once he has allocated 93 points, it is replaced by the more powerful Gold Rush, which deals 25% more damage. It costs 2 MP to use and can be used as many times on the same enemy as desired, although there is a chance that no extra gold will be obtained. ===DQ9=== This ability is learned with 13 skill points invested into Hammer skill. ===DQMJ=== Penny Pincher costs 2 MP to use and has a 50% chance of stealing gold from the target. There is a limit to how much gold can be stolen per battle. The skill can be learned from: * Bounty Hunter (20 points) * Captain Crow (4 points) * Huntsman (20 points) * Thief (49 points) ===DQMJ2=== Penny Pincher can be learned from all the skill sets it could be previously. ==References== <references/> clear DQSkills
