Roly is the main mascot of Dragon Quest Smash/Grow. It is a small, floating robot that does not move from the protagonist's side.

Roly is a cheerful companion who will usually comment on behalf of the protagonist. It sometimes malfunctions, causing it to make silly mistakes.

Trivia
*Toshio Furukawa, the voice of Roly, also voices the real form of Mystvearn in the 2020 anime and the poppet Nablette (ナブレット団長) in Dragon Quest X.
