The '''seed of luck''' is a recurring item in the ''[[Dragon Quest (series)|Dragon Quest]]'' series that was introduced in {{Dragon Quest III}}. It permanently raises the [[List_of_character_statistics#Luck|Luck]] of a single party member by 1-3 points. It was retired in {{Dragon Quest V}} and has not appeared in the series since.

Due to system changes the 50% stat cut that takes place when a character changes vocations at {{Alltrades Abbey 3}} will not affect the point boosts given by seeds, which are permanently applied to a character.
