The '''Shadow in Memoriam''' (追憶のシャド ''Tsuioku no shadō'') is a {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}} that was introduced in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version of {{Dragon Quest VIII}}.

It is a more powerful variant of the [[Shadow]] appearing as the  eleventh boss in [[Memories Lane]] alongside [[Evil Jessica in Memoriam]].

==Characteristics==
Hailing from another dimension, these ephemeral facsimiles of demonic silhouettes are once again called upon by the power of the royal sceptre in [[Memories Lane]]. Six Shadows in Memoriam can appear on the battlefield at the same time, making it beneficial to eliminate them swiftly before they overwhelm the {{Party 8}}.
