==Characteristics==
It casts [[Woosh]] on a single group of enemies when used as a tool in battle. In both ''Dragon Quest X'' and ''Dragon Quest XI'', as well as ''Heroes II'', it is classified as a [[Heavy Wand (weapon type)|heavy wand]].
*The staff's original design is made from a dark red wood and features the design of a beast of judgment with its maw wide open. Various runes are carved into the middle section of the staff.
*An alternate design for the staff was introduced in ''Dragon Quest IX'', being a variant of the [[Staff of divine wrath]] with different colours. The staff is made from magenta wood and is topped with a design of a bronze winged figure holding a silver lightning bolt, with clouds and a corona design behind it.
