Branching is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Monsters 2. It deals 1.5 times more damage to monsters of the Plant family and costs 3 MP to use. It likely influenced the creation of the Poplar Toppler skill in the main series.
