Crafty Zapper voids 10% of the target's resistance to Lightning, regardless of whether the damage is caused by a spell, breath attack, elemental attack, or physical attack. It is not innately possessed by any monster but can be added to the list of traits by equipping the [[rubber armband]] or [[rubber belt]], which are dropped by [[wyrtoise]]s and [[bambooligan]]s respectively. The trait combines with the effects of [[Ultra Crafty Zapper]] to ignore 60% of the target's  resistance.

The effects of this trait can be nullified if the target has the [[Zap Ward]] or [[Ultra Zap Ward]] traits.
