Critical Thinker doubles the base chance of a magical mishap, but is not learned naturally by any monster. Instead, it is obtained by equipping either a [[mage's ring]] or a [[sage's ring]], which are dropped by [[lump shaman|lump shamen]] and [[mogus]] respectively. Critical Thinker does not stack with the effects of any other haywire spell trait, but it is voided by [[Desperate Measures]].
