==Characteristics==
Gremlins are diminutive members of the [[Demon family]] with pink or purple skin, a lizard's tail, a small pair of wings on their backs, and a tiny pair of blue horns on their heads. They are mischievous creatures who always float with their tongues constantly sticking out of their mouths, capable of casting several different spells and breathing fire at their opponents.

After the Gremlins' debut in {{DQ2}}, their only mainline appearance has been in {{DQ10}}; most of their appearances have been in spin-offs such as the ''[[Dragon Quest Monsters]]'' series.
