==Overview==
The King of Darkness is [[Hero (Dragon Quest)|the foolish hero]] who fell for Dragonlord's trap. He has gone mad, claiming to be the king of all of [[Alefgard]] and attacking the Builder for trespassing his property. He cannot be defeated, he flees from battle as soon as he realizes he will lose.

The fallen hero looks like [[Robbin' 'Ood|the most famous thief in the series]], but with a more elaborate garb: He wears red underwear, a red hood with white and gold details, a pendant, a crown, and blue gloves and boots. He uses [[Erdrick's Sword]] and [[Erdrick's Shield|Shield]], since he obtained them before abandoning his quest to defeat the [[Dragonlord]].

In battle, he can perform regular attacks, charged circular attacks or call for allies. 

The tower where he resides is called "Half of the World", referencing what the Dragonlord promises in his offer.
