==Characteristics==
Lunatick queens are bizarre floating monsters whose bodies are made up of various pinkish-purple tentacles attached to a yellow carapace, a longer set of blue tentacles trailing trailing behind, a long pair of antennae, and the singular green eye characteristic of its species. They possess the power of lightning and are capable of paralyzing anyone who makes eye contact with her. According to her bestiary description in ''X'', she protects her nest of Lunaticks, but has a disdain for [[Raving lunatick]]s, who were raised on a diet of darkness. Due to the "tick" in their name, the lunatick queens are considered part of the [[Bug family]], but in many spinoff games they are considered demons due to their otherworldly and nightmarish characteristics.
