==Characteristics==
Madusas are [[Demon family|demonic]] floating eyes surrounded by a writhing mass of blue snakes with sharp fangs. Most of their body and the undersides of the snakes are orange. The eyelid surrounding its center eye is red and the eyes of its snakes are red, as well. They are capable of utilizing debilitating magic in battle to hamper their foes and in spinoff games, they gain the ability to place curses and even inflict petrification, much like their mythological inspiration.

In some games such as the 3D ''Monsters'' games and ''Builders 2'', they grow to truly immense sizes. Although madusa makes regular appearances in spinoff games, they have yet to reappear in another main series game to date.
