==Characteristics==
Medicinal herbs restore a small amount of [[HP|hit points]] to a single character and are consumed upon use. The herbs are most useful early in the game when other healing sources are limited and for exploring dungeons, particularly for characters who cannot use magic. It is sold at nearly every item shop for a low amount of gold. In some games, certain monsters even have the ability to use medicinal herbs to heal their fellow monsters. In games with [[alchemy]], the Medicinal herb is often mixed to create healing items that can restore even more HP.
