It can be recruited from Chapters 9-6, 9-8, 11-6, and 11-8 of the main storyline, as well as the Coastal Maw levels of the Dragon Fest event at any difficulty. The mandrake major can participate in the Battle Roads of the [[Green dragon]], [[Troll]], [[Cumulus vex]], [[Gasbagon]], [[Baran]], and [[Estelle]] as a party member.
