All of Mordegon's forms appear as S-rank members of the [[??? family]] during the limited ''Dragon Quest XI'' event. His first form can also be battled in Chapter 5, Episode 1 of the event quests entitled Mordegon, as well as in the Heliodor Castle stage in Menace of Mordegon Lord of Shadows. His second form can be faced in Chapter 5, Episode 3: Mordegon Lord of Shadows, while his Mordragon form with both his front and tail are faced as a boss in Chapter 5, Episode 4: Mordegon Lord of Shadows & Mordragon, as well as in their own Mega Boss Battle. His Lord of Shadows form appears on his own banner alongside [[Rantingen raven]].
