==Trivia==

* His favourite thing about himself is his thick white moustache. His favourite food is Dundrasil sandwiches. He sings songs to relieve stress.

In the original version of ''Dragon Quest XI'', his dialogue was much the same, except that he did not say where Puerto Valor was.
* In the international [https://www.famitsu.com/news/202001/11190471.html fan poll] for ''Dragon Quest XI'' that was released by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Rab placed last in popularity among the playable party members, with a total of 152 votes.
* Rab is the party member who levels up at the slowest rate, and he also has the second lowest agility growth rate after [[Hendrik|the eighth party member]].
* Each of the Luminary's companions represents one of the classes in [[Dragon Quest III]]. Rab represents the Sage. His ability to use claws indicates that he was a Martial Artist prior to his class change.
