The cat suit has a defense bonus of +15 in the original version of the game, but it was increased to an impressive +35 in all remake versions of the game. When equipped, it also changes that character's appearance to a humanoid, bipedal cat on the overworld, though this is purely superficial and provides no bonuses in battle. One can be found in a treasure chest in [[Manoza Cave]]. It is also occasionally dropped by [[Vampire cat|Vampire cats]] (1/256 chance) and [[Catula|Catulas]] (1/128 chance).

It can be equipped by all vocations, and sold for 262 [[gold]] coins.
