Hyperanemons are not faced until near the end of the game and beyond, appearing in the final dungeon and [[bonus dungeon]]. It is possible to recruit a {{Hyperanemon R}}, but because monsters faced in [[Mt. Zugzwang]] can't be recruited the player is only able to recruit one after beating the game and gaining access to [[Estark's Labyrinth|the bonus dungeon]].
