Shiva made her first appearance in the 1990 game ''[[Wikipedia:Final Fantasy III|Final Fantasy III]]'' and she has continued to appear in some form in every main series game since and even regularly appears in spinoff games, as well.

Shiva appears as an A-rank member of the [[??? family]] as part of the limited ''War of the Visions: Final Fantasy'' event alongside [[Omega]] on its banner. She also appears as a boss in the Large Battle alongside [[Bahamut]], [[Ifrit]], and [[Phoenix (Final Fantasy)|Phoenix]] where her attacks include [[Ice Shard]], [[Frozen Fetters]], and [[White Ice]]. After she has taken enough damage, Shiva will summon a group of [[Cactuar]]s to assist her and she will give a Breath Res buff when she is defeated.
