==Appearances== ==={{DQB2}}=== To fulfill the missions that [[Pastor Al]] had given the Furrowfield farmers, [[Britney]] figures that their available farmland is too small and it would take forever to grow 50 sheaves of wheat. Furthermore, one of the quests concerned tilling 50 blocks of earth, which they did not have. She sends the Builder and [[Malroth (Character)|Malroth]] on a mission to find the nearby wiggly that was rumoured to be hiding in his burrow, and a [[fat rat]] near the Fat Rat Rise naviglobe points them in the direction of a "mud-munching monster to the east". They find Wrigley surrounded by monsters (a [[deadnaut]], two [[gremlin|gremlins]] and two [[badboon|badboons]]) under Hargon's reign, who plan to "punish" (kill) him for cleaning the soil in his wake - reasoning that if he was a true believer in the Children, he would destroy what he had done - but Malroth and the Builder make quick work of them. After telling Wrigley they are rebuilding Furrowfield Farm and they are "lookin' for someone as can conjure up earth out of nothin'", he enthusiastically follows the Builder back to town. Pastor Al attempts to force Wrigley to aid them in building new fields, threatening death if he fails to comply, but Malroth says that he will beat the pastor up if he tries anything funny. Regardless, Wrigley was more than happy to help to begin with, and decides to stay. When a scarecrow (non-consumable), ball of worm food or woody goody (consumable) is placed, he will begin purifying the soil below in a 9x9x2 (length Γ width Γ height) area in which the item is in the center, with a range of 3 blocks downwards including the block the item is placed on. He creates these 9x9 areas in nine 3x3 chunks, where he pops out from the center from each chunk and then disappears into it before moving to the next chunk. He will always start from the north-west chunk and proceed south, before moving to the middle column and then the east-most column. In each 3x3 chunk, there is a chance that one plant or forest debris will spawn. The grass that worm food will make is different depending on which block it is affecting. Dirt blocks like spoiled soil, stony soil or arid earth will create grassy earth, sand will create lemongrassy earth and poisonous peat will create witchgrassy earth. Woody goodies will only create limegrassy earth. The following data is experimental and should not be taken as 100% accurate. For worm food on dirt-like blocks (e.g. spoiled soil, stony soil, arid earth, witchgrassy earth), there is approximately an 89.473~% chance that ground cover will spawn every chunk, with on average 8.052~ chunks that will have spawned something. The range of chunks that receive growth is 6-9, with 6-7/9 chunks being far less likely than 8-9/9 chunks. On average, 3.647~ grass grows, 2 stalwarts grow, 1.294~ medicinal shrubs sprout, 0.058~ blossoming shrubs sprout, and 0.705~ milkblossoms bloom. It is to be noted that grass seems to always spawn, being able to spawn up to 8 times, although spawning anywhere more than 4 times is quite rare. The creation of grassy earth will cause meadow tiles to register on the map. For worm food on sand (not seaside or stony or sandstone sand, golden desert sand) there is a 58.479~% chance that cover will spawn, with on average 5.263~ chunks that will have spawned something. The range of chunks that receive growth is 3-8, with both 3/9 and 7-8/9 chunks being less common. On average, 2 grass grows, 2.263~ coralilies bloom, 0.368~ palm tree saplings emerge, and 0.526~ gladioli bloom. It should be noted that there is always at least one flower that appears per 9x9 reigon. For woody goodies on dirt-like blocks, there is a 60% chance for ground cover to spawn every chunk, and on average 5.6 chunks will have spawned something. The range of chunks that receive growth is 3-9, with 3/9 and 8-9/9 chunks being rare. On average, 1.1333 plumberry saplings emerge, 1.2666 branches pop up, 1.7333 stalwarts grow, and 1.2666 small stones appear. It is to be noted that while stalwarts and rocks are both able to be absent, it seems as if either one sapling or one branch must always appear. The creation of limegrassy earth will cause forest tiles to register on the map. For woody goodies on desert sand, no change to the surface will occur but ground cover will appear. There is a 41.830~% chance of cover to spawn every chunk, and on average 3.764~ chunks will have spawned something. The range of chunks that receive growth is 2-7, with 7/9 being quite rare. On average, 2.352~ sandwarts grow, 0.529~ small stones appear, 0.411~ prickly peach cacti bloom, 0.411~ cacti seed mounts are planted, and 0.058~ big rocks appear. Seemingly, a sandwart always appears. No ground cover is grown on poisonous peat.
