Yangus appears in Dragon Quest Heroes II as a recurring character that can be played as in co-op dungeons, but is unable to be used in the regular story mode. His moveset is mostly unchanged from the previous game, and his charge gimmick was repurposed for [[Carver]] in the story mode. Additionally Yangus is unable to equip any new weapons, being locked to the Almighty axe, though he can still equip Orbs and accessories.
