Alena appears as an S-rank character of the [[Hero family]] as part of the original ''Dragon Quest IV'' event, appearing on her own banner along with [[Armoured scorpion]]. Alena can also participate in {{Ragnar}}'s Battle Road as a party member and she can be challenged alongside him and [[Kiryl]] in the special Three Heroes boss battle. She could also be scouted by the player by redeeming their Dark Lord/Hero Meeting Ticket S. Alena could eventually be scouted from any limited banner, as well.
