Agate of evolution can be commonly dropped or stolen from [[Leviathing]]s, [[Coralotl]]s, [[Headless norseman|Headless norsemen]], [[Master commander]]s, and [[Hooperman|Hoopermen]], as well as rarely dropped by [[Golden girl]]s and their vicious counterparts, [[Crystalotl]]s, and [[Umbra]]s. In the postgame, agate of evolution can be picked up from a singular sparkly spot in the [[Hoarder's Keep]] or redeemed from the [[casino]] at [[Puerto Valor]] for 50,000 tokens each. Some agates can be found in a treasure chest at [[Insula Algarum]]{{tt|*|Requires flying monster to reach}}, B9 of [[the Battleground]], Level 4 of the [[Fortress of Fear]], [[the Tower of Lost Time]], and at [[Gondolia]]{{tt|*|Requires the Ultimate Key}} in the postgame. Three agates of evolution are received as a reward for completing Quest #42: A Little Bit Lantern. It can be sold for 2,000 gold.
