==Requirements==
In order to become a Barbatos, one must have either mastered both the [[Goodybag (Vocation)|Goodybag]] and [[Dingbat (Vocation)|Dingbat]] vocations or have a monster heart in their inventory when going to {{Alltrades Abbey 7}} to change their vocation. A '''Barbatos heart''' can also be won by playing the '''Lucky Panel''' game in the [[Casino]] at [[Buccanham]] in the present in the original Sony PlayStation version or from the casino at [[the Haven]].
* In the Nintendo 3DS version, it is also possible to acquire a Barbatos heart by creating a custom [[Traveller's Tablet]] with a Barbatos as the boss.
