While visiting the Altar of the Forgotten Past in the [[Echo Chamber]], the party ends up at the [[Roamer Encampment]], where they meet Rom Baro, the leader of the Roamers. He explains that the dancer Lala has fallen ill with a mysterious illness that cannot be cured with any herbal remedy, prayer, or ritual dance. Her husband [[Kiefer]] has set off to the [[Rainbow Mines]] in search of the green gem, said to have the power to cure all ailments. The party journeys to the depths of the mines and finds Kiefer. Before he can gets his hands on the green gem, they are attacked by a powerful monster. The group is able to defeat it, earning the admiration of Kiefer, who then heads back to the Roamers to bring the shard of the green gem to Lala.
