Hadlar appears in both his Darkling and Superior Being forms as a boss in the collaboration events in the Japanese version of the game. The player can acquire pieces of equipment in order to dress like Hadlar.

He can be faced as a boss in Chapter 3, Episode 2 of the event quests entitled The Terrifying Curse Field 1, as well as on Showdown on Valge Island! and All-Out Battle! Dark Commander Hadlar after defeating [[Crocodine]], [[Hyunckel]], [[Flazzard]], and [[Baran]].
