*Maulstrom can be upgraded into '''Super Maulstrom''' by spending 8 skill points, which costs 8 MP to use. It can be performed by charging up Maulstrom for a short time. Super Maulstrom can be upgraded again into '''Über Maulstrom''' for 16 skill points, costing 12 MP to use. Each upgrade increases the damage and range of the attack.
