===DQ7=== Centuries before the beginning of the game, the Almighty came into conflict with the Demon King Orgodemir. The battle between the two would rock the world, and through the slaughtering of many of the Almighty's followers, the fiend had weakened Him enough to be slain. During the final battle with Orgodemir, the Almighty seals away Sir Mervyn, the greatest knight of the Holy Order of the Almighty, in the Sizzling Stone. Orgodemir ultimately manages to defeat the Almighty in their battle, enveloping most of the world in darkness and sealing away the islands in stone tablets, leaving only the lone island of Estard. The Almighty later admits that, although He was defeated, He believes it was more of a draw. Planning ahead in case of such catastrophe, the Almighty created the Divine Shrine as a way for humanity to undo the damage Orgodemir would inflict upon the world and revive the heavenly father. Through the actions of the player, these events eventually come to pass and the Demon King would be vanquished at the hands of mere mortals. Astonished and delighted that His children had come so far on their own, the Almighty saw fit that humanity no longer needed His guidance and withdrew from the world. By reaching the end of the bonus dungeon in the postgame, the party can speak with the Almighty and challenge Him to a friendly spar. When He is beaten under 20 turns, He offers a choice of different rewards each time He is defeated: *3 Mysterious Fragments that lead to the Cave to Yet Another World *1 Prime cut *1 Skimpy nightie *1 Hero Heart {{DQ7Enemy |name=The Almighty |kanji=η₯γγΎ |romanji=Kamisama |sprite= |hp=12,400 |mp=Infinite |exp=0 |gold=0 |attack=382 |defense=162 |agility=173 |tameRate=0 |bestiaryNumber=#317 |spells=None |skills=Recovers 50 HP per turn
[Attack Pattern A]: Acts twice per turn
Fires off a ball of frigid ice! He will completely restore the party's HP and MP beforehand. He proves to be a much more difficult opponent than Orgodemir. He switches between two attack patterns; in the first attack pattern, the Almighty will always act twice per turn, He can fire off a ball of frigid ice that deals a high amount of ice breath damage to the party, use Underpants Dance or Lullab-Eye to incapacitate the party, remove all beneficial effects with Disruptive Wave, or switch to the second attack pattern. The player should always be ready to awaken a sleeping character with Rude Awakening or Dawn Chorus. In the second attack pattern, the Almighty will only occasionally act twice per turn and attacks with Wind Sickles, Hellfire, or Lightning Storm, as well as being able to potentially stun the party with a One-Liner. Due to an unusual quirk in the original Sony PlayStation version, it is possible that the Almighty can potentially act three or four times per turn whenever He changes attack patterns. In the Nintendo 3DS version, this was changed so that the Almighty only ever acts a maximum of twice per turn. Hellfire and Lightning Storm are the most dangerous attacks to deal with, so the player should always keep Insulatle active and have characters equipped with armour that reduces damage from fire breath. Magic Barrier will help protect the party against Lightning Storm and being put to sleep, although in the 3DS version, it will not offer any protection against status ailments. Attacks like Blade of Ultimate Power, Sword Dance, and Call to Arms should be used regularly to deal high amounts of damage in order to beat Him in the required 19 turn limit. The player should be prepared with a combination of Multiheal, Omniheal, Hustle Dance, the Sage's stone, and phials of Yggdrasil dew to keep the party healed, especially if they manage to get hit twice in a row by some of the Almighty's group-targeting attacks.
