Zepha excels at swordsmanship, and is relentlessly fighting to get rid of rifts that threaten her world.
{{spoiler|start}}She is the first in line to the throne of [[Verna]], and often used to play with her younger sister [[Nina]] as children. She left the castle without a trace one winter evening to live with [[Quin]] and train under his wing to learn the ways of war and eventually be able to defend the people. [[Quin]] (a royal guard of Verna) states at [[Moneta Shore]] that he is bound by royal decree and cannot tell the [[Party (Dragon Quest Smash/Grow)|party]] why she had to leave. At Quin's home, she and the [[Hero (Dragon Quest Smash/Grow)|player]] trained together, which is how the Dragon Wings was formed.{{spoiler|end}}
