He appears in collaboration events in the Japanese version of the game. The player can acquire pieces of equipment in order to dress like Popp in either his wayfarer's clothes or his Papnica vestments.

Popp appears as an A-rank member of the [[Hero family]], dressed in his Bengarna outfit, as part of the game's limited ''The First Adventure of Dai'' event alongside both [[Dai]] and [[Hyunckel]] on their banners. Popp appeared as a playable character in the game. As the Mage of the Disciples of Avan, he is able to cast a variety of different offensive spells, which each of his outfits specialising in a different element. Due to the game's nature, Popp had the ability to cast many spells that did not appear in the original manga or anime.
