Evil Jessica is able to summon shadows by ripping open the fabric of space with the [[Godbird sceptre|sceptre]], up to a total of six at once. These shadows are weaker than the ones faced later in the World of Darkness, lacking their resistance to damage and only being able to breathe out Cool Breath, but they can still be a nuisance once they outnumber the party.
